# Book Moments


# Book moments

Book moments shows you the details of a product such as date, price, time slots and the capacities created while entering the [product details](https://support.booqi.me/nl/article/product-details-12bjfek/). 
Each time slot has a capacity, which indicates the maximum number of visitors that can be allowed in the time slot at the same time. 
It lets you know when the capacity is full for a particular time slot. Visitors can only make bookings for predefined time slots and they cannot make arbitrary bookings outside the time slots.
For example, if a visitor books 100 tickets for a particular date and time slot, the capacity for that product is automatically updated.

Once you create a product, booking times are created for that product.
Based on the settings you have chosen, each booking moment has a capacity and you can place an order in a booking moment that reduces the capacity.
However, we find that it is sometimes necessary to adjust these booking moments, even though orders may have already been placed in a particular booking moment/time slot.
The following options are available for a booking moment/time slot:

* Change availability for an existing booking moment.
* Change capacity for an existing booking moment.
* Delete booking moments completely: no more orders can be placed in that time slot. However, existing orders are not automatically cancelled.
* Adjust prices for a booking slot.
* Manually add a booking
* Change times and/or date for an existing booking schedule

Click on any of the above items to perform the desired action.

 **Add booking times**

* Click on the **Add booking moments** button. You will be taken to the New Booking Moments window where you can select the desired settings.
* In the **Date** field, select the date you want to create a new time slot.
* Under **Capacity**, select how many people can fit into that time slot.
* Enter the **Start Time** and **End Time** according to your requirements. Select the **Availability** from the drop-down list.
* Enter the price of your time slot in the **Price** field.
* Click **Add**. A new time has been added to the list.

**Delete book moments**

* Select the moment you want to delete by checking the check box.
* Click **Delete**. The moment and details will be removed from the list.

|| Note: If visitors have already booked tickets for a particular date and time period, and you decide to delete that moment, a warning message will be displayed as below.
|| Warning! You have changed your days and/or time slots, but customers have already been given the option to book these time slots online. Your changes may affect existing orders.

* Select the moment you want to edit and click the Edit button.
* Edit the details as per your requirements and click **Save**.

**Upload book moments**

Instead of adding the time slots one by one, you can upload a CSV file with all the details of the time slots and their respective capacities.
Click the **Upload** button to upload the CSV file.
