# Scanners


### Scanners

The Booqi app is used for entrance management, ticket scanning and customer check-in, all directly from your smartphone. To use the scanning functionality, download the Booqi app at no further cost from the [Apple App Store](https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/booqi/id1554237834) or [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AdService.Booqi).

To connect a new device for ticket scanning, you need to do the following:

* Click **Connect Scanner**
* Enter the **name** of the device to be linked.
* Click add to pair the device. after this, a new scanner will appear in the **Scanners** list.
* Select the device to pair from the **Scanners** list and click **Connect** to see a QR code to be scanned.

Once the QR code is scanned and validated, the device is ready to use. Click **Delete** to remove the device from the list again.
