Epson Printer Setup for Booqi POS
Follow the steps below to connect and configure your Epson printer with your Booqi POS system.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- An Epson receipt printer
- A stable internet/network connection
- A PC or laptop connected to the same network
- Your Booqi API token
- Your POS ID
Step 1 — Connect and Power On the Printer
- Connect all cables to the printer:
- Power cable
- Network cable
- Turn on the Epson printer.
Step 2 — Print the Printer Network Information
- Open the Epson printer cover.
- While the cover is open:
- Press and hold the Receipt Release button until the Receipt light starts blinking.
- Press the Receipt button:
- Twice quickly
- Then a third time and hold it slightly longer
- The printer will print:
- One long receipt
- One short receipt
- On the short receipt, locate the local IP address of the printer.
Example:
192.168.0.xxx
Step 3 — Open the Printer Settings
- On a PC connected to the same network, open a web browser.
- Enter the printer IP address in the address bar:
https://192.168.0.xxx/
- You may receive a security or certificate warning.
- Click Advanced
- Then click Proceed
This is normal for local printer interfaces.
Step 4 — Log In to the Printer
- Click Advanced Settings.
- Enter the printer password.
- The password can be found on the back of the printer next to a lock icon.
Step 5 — Configure Server Direct Print
- Navigate to:
TM-i Settings → Server Direct Print
- Enable Server Direct Print.
- Replace the Server 1 URL with:
https://subdomain.booqi.me/api/printer/epson/POS-ID?apiToken=GENERATEDTOKEN
Replace the following values:
Placeholder | Description |

| Your Booqi environment subdomain |
| Your POS ID |
| Your API token |
Finding Your POS ID
The POS ID can be found in the URL after opening your POS environment.
Creating an API Token
- Open your Booqi environment
- Go to:
Settings → API
- Generate or copy the API token.
Step 6 — Apply the Settings
- Click Apply & Restart.
- Wait for the printer to restart.
Setup Complete
Your Epson printer is now connected to your Booqi POS system.
