Differences in data displayed

In this article, we explain a number of differences that may arise in the data you see.

Difference in capacity in calendar and booking moments due to created orders:
Due to the status ‘Created’, there may be a difference between the capacity you see at the booking moments and in the calendar. An order receives this status when the payment has been initiated (this is the moment we reserve the tickets in the booking moment), but has not yet been completed or cancelled. Different payment methods have different expiry times. For example, a PayPal payer has 30 days to pay, while credit cards and iDeal only allow 1 hour.
Created orders are reserved in the booking moments, but are not yet marked as sold tickets in the calendar.

Difference in the number of tickets sold in the turnover report due to rebookings:
If a rebooking is made, you will see two orders in the system. Namely, one order that has been rebooked and one new order. A rebooked order invalidates the tickets and resets the capacity. However, in a sales report, these are reported as sold twice. The amounts will be correct, as the amount is not paid again in the new order when a rebooking is made.

Cancelling individual tickets results in incorrect orders and turnover reports
If you cancel an individual ticket, we will always correct the capacity for the relevant booking time. However, this single cancellation will not be visible in your order report or sales report. This is because the entire order is not cancelled and we want the total amount to match the number of tickets sold (otherwise it would be incorrect).

Transferring by means of an Admin order:
As an admin, you can place orders and thus choose to sell more tickets than the permitted capacity. When you do this, the capacity in the booking moments will go into the minus. It is also the case that if this order is cancelled later, your final capacity will be higher.

Please note that all reports are a snapshot of your actual data at that particular moment. Whenever the data is altered afterwards obviously this will also change the reports. It is not possible to place orders in the past. However admin users will have the possibility to cancel orders or cancel individual barcodes. Also visitors will be able to rebook orders, this will also change the status of orders in the past.
